JACQUES KLAUS

JACQUES KLAUS (1814-1909), a native of the canton of Zurich, made an extended "journeyman's" tour through Switzerland and France before setting up in business as a confectioner in Le Locle.

In 1856 he established a chocolate factory which rapidly achieved a considerable reputation.
