YC ChocolateYC Chocolate began life when Diane Yamate began manufacturing high quality sugar-based chocolates in 1979 in Northern California. Diane's chocolates became popular within the local market, which resulted in increased sales. In 1990, after over a decade of selling her chocolates locally, Diane took a big step and purchased a building and began wholesaling her chocolates to small retailers outside of Northern California. Business continued to increase, particularly with higher sales volume of molded chocolate gift chocolates. Since those early days, YC Chocolate has experienced tremendous growth and is expanding its brand across the Pacific into Asia. Along with its continuing growth, YC Chocolate is committed to doing business in a way that benefits customers, employees, and the global community. |
